Additionally\, there will be a complimentary company dinner on the 2nd at the hotel. Activities including  Go-karting\, Wakeboarding\, and an Onsen visit will be arranged for Saturday\, the 3rd. Please note that there will be a fee to cover for these activities. Further details can be found below. \nNote that you will need to cover the cost of your transportation to/ from the resort. Optional activities and other meals during your stay are also your responsibility. \nCheck out our photos from the 2025 Getaway trip – we hope to see you all again! \n*We will cover you and your spouse/ partner in a double/ twin room. However\, additional charges will be applied if you bring your children: \n\n1-4 years old; no charge will be applied\n5-11 years old; breakfast fee of 206 Baht per child per day\n12 years old and above; an extra bed including breakfast – 1\,000 Baht per night\n\nHow to get to Avalon Beach Resort – Pattaya\nAvalon Beach Resort is located on the beautiful Dongtan Beach in Jomtien-Pattaya. \nFrom Bangkok – Shared vans will be arranged by us\, and will depart on Friday\, 2nd from Iglu’s Bangkok offices and Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). The fee is 240 Baht one-way/ 480 Baht return. Reservation is required below:  \nPlease select the option that best applies to you \n\nShared Vans to/from Iglu’s Bangkok offices – Departure at 13:00\nShared Vans to/from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) – Departure at 13:00\n\nAlternatively\, buses and minivans depart to Pattaya from Ekkamai Bus Terminal near the Ekkamai BTS station every 30 minutes to 1 hour throughout the day. The journey takes about 2.5-3.5 hours and costs approximately 200 Baht for a one-way ticket. You can buy tickets directly at a kiosk inside the terminal. Upon your arrival in Pattaya\, inform the driver that you’re heading to Dongtan Beach (หาดดงตาล)\, then take a tuk-tuk/ taxi to the hotel. \nFrom Chiang Mai and other locations – Currently\, there’s only one option for flying directly from Chiang Mai Airport (CNX) to U-Tapao Airport Rayong/ Pattaya (UTP)\, and that’s with Thai Lion Air. Thai Lion Air has a service between CNX and UTP every Tuesday\, Thursday and Sunday\, as well as a vice versa route. To reach the hotel from here\, you will need to take a minibus to Pattaya.
